The purpose of the Road Department is to provide and maintain safe travel on township roads. The road department is responsible for snow removal, road signage, road maintenance, mowing and keeping the of Township’s 20.512 miles of roadways free of obstructions. The Road Department responds to constituent calls, as well as emergency situations due to weather. Road department employees (3 full time) also maintains the township park and cemeteries.
Bazetta Road Department is funded by the Road & Bridge Fund, State & County Motor Vehicle Tax, State Gasoline Tax, and Property Tax. The road department also maintains our cemeteries, township park and road ditches.
